Coach Roch was skating at the young age of 5. When introduced to the goalie position, he knew that the remainder of his hockey career would be between the pipes. 

​He was trained, mentored and coached by his father.  Hard work lead him straight from youth hockey to the junior leagues. This lead to being drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in '91. Over the course of his professional career, Roch spend 3 years playing with the Indianapolis Ice, Fort Worth Fire and the Muskegon Fury.​ Coach Roch is passionately motivated to share his knowledge, experience and stories with younger generations. This lead to the beginning of  North Country Goalie Development.

Ethan Garrand

Born: May 20, 2002

Hometown: Rouses Point, New York

Ethan grew up playing hockey for North Country Youth Hockey. He is currently attending Northeastern Central High School where he plays for the NCCS Cougars. Ethan became the #1 goalie his freshman year. In 2018, Ethan helped the Cougars win the Section 7 championship. 

Madison Beauchemin

Hometown : St-Jean, Quebec

USA Hockey Level 2

 

Madison started playing hockey with North Country Youth Hockey at 5 years old. She played on a U16 girl’s team and was MVP. She started her high school career with the Beekmantown Lady Eagles and won a state championship her sophomore year. For the last 3 years she has helped coach a peewee and a bantam team at NCYH. Her focus for the last year has been solely working with the goalies. She has a passion for hockey and enjoys helping others, especially when it comes to hockey. 

Nick Ladue

Lead Coach

Born: February 7, 2000

Hometown : Rouses Point, New York

Nick grew up playing hockey in the north country. He shared his high school hockey career between PHS and NCCS. During his time with the Cougars, Nick helped the team win the Section 7 championship. Nick has been trained and mentored by Coach Roch. He is currently attending Clinton Community College where he is studying criminal justice, with the intent of becoming a Border Patrol Agent. 

Ryan Roberts

Station Coach

Born: January 31, 1999

Hometown: Montreal, Quebec

 

Ryan started playing hockey at age of 6 years old. He played youth hockey with North Country Youth Hockey. Ryan moved on to play high school hockey at Northeastern Clinton Central High School, where he was #1 goalie for most of his high school career. He is currently attending Plattsburgh State University where he is studying environmental science. He hopes to become a DEC officer.

Kamm Cassidy

Lead Coach

Born: February 4, 1999

Hometown : Lake Placid, New York

 

Kamm started skating at the age of 5 and at the age of 7  began as an all time goaltender. His spent his youth playing hockey with the Lake Placid Youth Athletic Association. Kamm played wrap-around season with the Tri-Lakes Timberwolves as well as the Plattsburgh Roadrunners. In 2013 he was selected to attend the USA Hockey State Development Camp and in 2014 was able to attend the USA Hockey National Development Camp. During his high school career with the Lake Placid Blue Bombers, he won two section championships, two regional championships, and visited the NYS final four twice. Kamm was selected as the CVAC 1st team goaltender two years in a row and in 2017 was selected as the CVAC MVP.

Chris Goodman

Regional Coach

Born: June 25,1974

Hometown : Paul Smiths, New York

USA Hockey Level 1

Chris grew up in Saranac Lake where he played hockey until he graduated high school in 1993. He   spent a year with the NCCC Saints where he played defense. For the 2018-19 season, Chris has been focusing on coaching  the goalies at the Pewee Level. Chris is our regional contact in the SaraPlacid area. His passions include family,riding motorcycles, restoring his truck and hockey.

Anthony Barcomb

Station Coach

Born: February 14, 2000

Hometown : Rouses Point, New York

Anthony started playing hockey at age 11 as a forward. He made the switch to goalie the next year. He spent 5 years playing with North Country Youth Hockey, where his last year, he helped his team finish take second place at States. His high school career was spent playing with Northeastern Clinton Central High School. During Anthony's senior year, the team won the Section 7 championship. He is currently attending Clinton Community College where he is majoring in sports management.

Jaden Gladd

Station Coach

Born: June 22, 2001

Hometown: Saranac Lake, New York

Jaden started playing hockey at the age of 3. He has been at the goalie position for 13 years. For his youth hockey career, he shared his time between the Lake Placid and Saranac Lake youth hockey organizations. During that time he reached States twice. He currently attend Saranac Lake High School where he is a senior. Jaden would love to pursue a hockey career but is hoping on joining the military.
